I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE 1973 PRODUCTION OF LOST HORIZON BY ROSS HUNER. WILL THERE EVER BE A RELEASE OF THIS MOVIE ON DVD? THIS MOVIE IS WAY TOO GOOD TO BE SHELVED. PLEASE CONSIDER BRING IT OUT. I HAVE BEEN WAITING THIRTY SEVEN YEARS TO VIEW IT AGAIN AND POSSIBLY OWN A COPY.

I've been searching for a copy of this movie for years. I saw it as a young teenager and have been interested in Eastern philosophy ever since. I've taken to emailing the actors that I can find some sort of address for as well as Sony Pictures,etc. Hopefully someone will get the hint and release it on DVD.

In 1973 my family of three children and my late first husband and I walked to a neighborhood movie house and saw this film. We sang all the way home and I've sung those songs ever since. For a movie that was so imperfect, it certainly has a large following of people who would gladly pay for a DVD of this film with all its flaws. If it meant so much to so many of us, how bad could it really have been? Far worse films are on DVD.

Hallo everyone!
I have found a seller in USA (it is not allowed to promote other sites hier), and I've ordered from him before yesterday a Lost Horizont (1973)DVD. I waited untill all confirmations arrived to inform you about it. This seller sems to be very serious and the Infos from GEMM also. According to his informations my DVD is already on the way to Germany, where I live (via UPS). I hope it does'nt take too long to arrive and also hope, that I can play it at least on my PC-DVD-player, because in Germany our system is PAL... I do not know if it is realy compatible... but it does'nt matter, I am very glad to get this chance, no matter which system it is, I am going finaly to see the film anyway, I was waiting for this ipportunity for decades!!!

I'm also brasilian like you, living a long time in Germany! What a coincidence! I sew this film in Sao Paulo (na rua Augusta) right after its premiere and it was never forgoten from me.
