I truly was captivated by the superb acting in Lost and Delirious. To start I am a big fan of Piper Perabo and she adapts to a totally different genre in this film. The standard romantic comedy, 1.e. Coyote Ugly that has given Ms. Perabo a a mini-stereotype is given a wondrous send-off as heart-felt tragedy mixed with eye-popping sexual content. The tragic end was somewhat foreshadowed by Piper's relationship with the eagle or falcon and its eventual flight to freedom. Mischa Barton did a great job as "mouse" and the way she circuitously manages to find a level of comfort after being unceremoniously "dropped" in as the 3rd roommate totally taken aback by finding Perabo and Pare naked in bed together. She fends off the discomfort while she does a great job developing this character in a very believeable maturation. Barton is great at displaying the many difficult situations "mouse" must go through as she still is grieving over her own mother's death. Her relationship with the groundskeeper is just another well-groomed intertwining that adds to the movie rather than thinking it could have been left on the editor's floor. Additionally, Pare plays the role of friend and lover to Perabo very well.4.5 stars on a 1-5 scale
