They were being transported off another intelligent world and an alien face hugger got inside the pilot,he subseqently sent out a beacon to passing intelligent craft not to come near as the aliens where highly dangerous and the fact that he knew he would die anyway so help was not needed,this is explained a bit in the novel,lv426 is basically where he crashed the ship.

I think the Aliens had their own ships and the Predators had their own. I think it was interesting that alien 1 had used only 30 ft of tunnel and hallway to film.

Where did the original alien ship come from? Was is an Alien ship or a Predator ship? Just curious if anyone knows the origins of the aliens.
