"Jack Carter, an enforcer for a London mob, receives news of his brother Frank's death. So he goes up north to Newcastle for the funeral. But his brother's death is not the drunk driving accident reported. For one thing Frank doesn't drink, and for another, the local heavies are showing an unusual interest in Jack's presence. Jack discovers that Frank had uncovered a pornography and drug ring operating in the area into which his teenage niece had been coerced. So Jack takes his revenge. And the Newcastle mob take their revenge on Jack before the London mob can for Jack's illicit affair with the boss's girlfriend. "
