Review By Talea "The Rage of Paris"
Starring: Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Danielle Darrieux, Helen Broderick, Louis Hayward
Nicole De Cortillion (Danielle Darrieux) is struggling to pay her rent and survive the streets of New York City. She attempts to get a job as a model but inadvertently ends up at the wrong address. This is her initial meeting with Jim Trevor (Douglas Fairbanks, Jr.) successful business exec who has no clue why the girl is there or who she is. Trevor jests with her and then invites his retinue of secretaries in for future witness if need be. Miss Cortillion is angered and storms out in a huff tittering rapid French. Things don't get any better when she arrives at her small apartment. Her landlady has locked her out for non-payment. Luckily, he dear friend Gloria Patterson (Helen Broderick) saves the day by paying her rent. In the mean time the two come up with a plan to hook a rich husband for Nicole and solve all of her woes.

Aided by Mike the waiter, they set up an elaborate scheme and the two ladies are put up in one of the cities finest hotels. Conveniently, just across the hall from Bill Duncan (Louis Hayward), a very rich and available young gentleman. Things are going according to the plan until Bill's old buddy bumps into them at the opera. Guess who? Mr. Jim Trevor enters the picture again to become a successful thorn in Nicole's side. He is determined to expose the future bride as a fortune hunter. The two become embroiled in comedic antics to outwit one another.
