Review By ldpaulson "Ma and Pa Kettle"
Starring: Marjorie Main, Percy Kilbride, Richard Long
Ma and Pa Kettle (Main and Kilbride) and their 15 children are about to lose their farm. But Pa has won a slogan-writing contest and a new modern home! Can the Kettles ever feel at home in this shiny automated home?

The first in the series of Ma and Pa Kettle films, based on characters from the 1947 film “The Egg and I.” Audiences loved the characters, and the studio obliged by giving them their own film. The series became exceedingly popular.
