| Ma and Pa Kettle (Main and Kilbride) are headed, with daughter Rosie, on a trip to Hawaii. It's a sort of vacation for Ma without the children underfoot. Pa has been asked to help manage his ailing cousin's fruit processing plant. A group of competitors kidnap Pa, but they get more than they bargained for when the Kettles get help from Mama and Papa Lotus (Hattie and Lung). Exotic locale! We see pineapples from their growth to the processing!
The seventh in the series of Ma and Pa Kettle films, based on characters from the 1947 film “The Egg and I.” The last film for Kilbride. There would be two more films made in the series which remained exceedingly popular with audiences. | ||
