Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Double Impact
Twin brothers played by Van Damme are separated as infants due to the murder of their parents by Triads. They are reunited 25 years later to seek revenge on the ruthless businessman who give the orders. Van Damme also co-produced and co-wrote the film. There is plenty of action and very colourful henchmen led by kung-fu movie favourite Beolo Yeung.
--Cleo R, Resident Scholar

Infant twins are separated when their parents are murdered by their father's business partner, who also steals the bridge their father had rights to. The twins (Jean Claude Van Damme) reunite years later to get back what rightfully belongs to them and to get justice for their murdered parents. However, the twins are very different, one is a goody two shoes while the other is a criminal with a tough exterior, who also happens to have a sexy girlfriend his brother covets. The twins fight each other and fight their enemies in a typical Van Damme action flick.
