Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Assignment
Based on a screenplay directly written for the screen, THE ASSIGNMENT is a movie directed by Christian Duguay in 1997.

Naval Officer Annibal Ramirez does have a tremendous resemblance with international terrorist Carlos "The Jackal". A CIA member, Donald Sutherland, and an israelian officer, Ben Kingsley, will train him in order that Ramirez could be able to fool the Russian Secret Services and make them believe that Carlos has joined the ranks of the West.

A remarkable movie.
