| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Shooting |
When Warren Oates returns to his camp, he finds only one of his companions there: Will Hutchins. Oates's brother, Coin, has left the camp and the last miner has been killed by a mysterious stranger. Millie Perkins arrives the next day and asks for help. She needs a guide to be escorted to Kingsley. Soon, Jack Nicholson, a hired gun, joins the group. Warren Oates then understands that Perkins and Nicholson are in fact tracking down someone. Could it be his own brother ? Only after a long journey through the Utah desert will Warren get the answer to his questions.
