| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Missing |
Based on the Thomas Eidson novel, THE MISSING is a film directed by Ron Howard in 2003. Unfortunately, this movie, the best of Ron Howard so far, didn't do so well at the box-office.
When her daughter is kidnapped by a group of Apaches, Maggie Gilkeson asks her no-good father to help her save Lily. Maggie and Sam know that they have to catch up with the outlaws before they reach Mexico. If they don't, Lily and the other kidnapped women will be sold to the local brothels.
