| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Hard Ground |
A group of prisoners escape from a prison wagon and go on a killing and robbing spree. Unable to gather a posse, the marshall is forced to enlist the help of another killer, his brother-in-law, whom he arested 10 years ago. With the promise of freedom, the killer agrees to help the marshall. They track the outlaws across the west, rescuing a girl held hostage. The girl helps the men find the outlaws. The men catch up with the outlaws in a small Mexican town. There's a big shoot-out that eventually leaves only the 'good guys' standing.
