| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Absolutely Fabulous |
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (Absolument fabuleux) is a movie based on the Jennifer Saunders British TV show. The film was cowritten and directed by the French director Gabriel Aghion in 2001.
Eddie Mousson and Patricia are long-time friends. They have enjoyed the sixties and the discovery of drugs and later the seventies with its sex without limits motto. Now they're 50 years old but they go on living as if they were 20. They drink champagne all day long and love the designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Safrane, Eddie's daughter, is a very rational girl preparing to become an engineer. She patiently abides Eddie and Patricia as long as they don't interfere with her life. But when her mother falls in love with Jonathan, a 20 years old delivery man, Safrane will have to confront her mother as she has also fallen in love with Jonathan.
