| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about In Enemy Hands |
IN ENEMY HANDS is a movie co-written and directed by Tony Giglio in 2003.
Chief Nathan Travers (Macy) is aboard the U.S.S. Swordfish, a submarine hounding German U-Boats. The commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Randall Sullivan (Caan), has just discovered he's suffering from a virulent meningitis when the sub is hit by a torpedo. The crew must abandon the ship and is taken prisoner by a German U-boat. Germans as well as Americans become soon sick and, in order to save the life of them all, the German Commandant must ask Macy to tell the American sailors to help the German crew. Together, they decide to head to the American Atlantic coast. They will encounter an American boat but they can't contact it as their radio is dead.
