| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Terminal Velocity |
Charlie Sheen plays a sky diver (Ditch), a thrill seeker, who frequently jumps for entertainment. One day a pretty girl comes to the airport wanting to have a lesson, RIGHT NOW. He agrees to take her up. Just as they are getting ready to dive, it seems like she has gone ahead on her own. He quickly jumps but cannot catch her and she seemingly dives to her death. The local police start investigating Ditch for manslaughter charges. He's getting very nervous until she suddenly turns up, alive! It seems she is a Russian agent working for their government. She is after a rogue organization that is trying to make a coup against the Russian government. At the same time, they are after her, which is why she fakes her death. It doesn't fool them, though, and she has to somehow stay out of sight and foil their plans at the same time. She takes Ditch along for the ride, who also needs to take her back to the authorities to prove he didn't cause her death. The story takes place in and around Tucson, Arizona. One scene takes place at the "airplane graveyard" in Arizona where military planes are scrapped.
