Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Secret Agents
SECRET AGENTS (Agents secrets) is a French movie co-written and directed by Frédéric Schoendoerffer in 2003.

Brisseau and Lisa are secret agents working for the French secret services. Their next mission is to go to Casablanca, Morocco and prepare the scuttling of a boat, loaded with illegal weaponry destined to Angola, belonging to the Estonian arms dealer Igor Lipovsky. The operation is a success but an American spy who was on the boat dies in the explosion.

Back in Europe, Lisa is arrested at Geneva airport and sent to jail because a bag of heroin, hidden there by her employers, is found in her wallet. Brisseau arrives in Paris and understands soon that his hierarchy doesn't want him around anymore. It seems that Igor Lipovsky, convinced by the French explosive arguments, has finally decided to play France game. Hence, Brisseau's questions about the meaning of his operation start to irritate his hierarchy.
