|Review Summary and Plot Commentary about April Fool's Day|
|A group of college friends take a vacation at rich-girl Muffy's island mansion, on April Fool's Day. On the boat trip out to the island, the practical joking of two of the boys results in a horrible accident for one of the boatmen.
Once at the mansion, the practical joking continues, some innocent, some more cruel and personal. Overnight, one of the boys disappears, and is not discovered until the next afternoon, when Kit and her boyfriend Rob find him floating under the boathouse. One by one, their other friends either disappear (and reappear dead) or act very suspiciously, and it finally becomes clear to Kit that one of the group of frinds must be the killer. Kit and Rob try to discover the killer's identity, and evade the killer themselves.
