Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Black Sunday
Based on the novel by Thomas Harris, during a raid on a terrorist camp, Israeli commando Major David Kabakov (Robert Shaw) finds a taped message, meant to be broadcast after a major terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Traveling to the U.S., Kabakov is assigned toi work with FBI agent Sam Corley (Fritz Weaver) to find out what the terrorists are planning.

Meanwhile, terrorist Dahlia Iyad (Marthe Keller) is working with former Navy pilot and now Goodyear blimp pilot Captain Michael J. Lander (Bruce Dern) on the plot. Their plan: blow up 1,200 punds of explosives to send rifle darts flying into 80,000 people and the President of the United States at the Super Bowl.

As the time to the attack draws near, Kabakov and Corley are able to figure out the plan and find themselves in a race against time to stop the skyjacking of the Goodyear blimp and the attack on the super bowl.
