Review Summary and Plot Commentary about One Last Score
Johnny (Modine) is an ex-con trying to go straight with the help of his former high school classmate and parole officer (Keith). He is warned to steer clear of his family as his father (Hurt) and crazy brother (O'Connor) are known criminals. He gets a job at a gas station in the middle of nowhere thanks to a sympathetic owner (Dern).

But Johnny's family insists on seeing him and soon Johnny is on the run after his brother taunts a group of Mexicans and injures one of them who happen to be Mafia-connected. His brother also clubs Johnny's parole officer when he begins asking too many questions. The brothers go on the run to Mexico and Johnny is soon drawn into plans to heist the proceeds at a bullfight.
