Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Working Girl
Working Girl is a movie for anyone who has been the underdog in their workplace. Melanie Griffith stars as Tess McGill, a secretary trying to climb up the corporate ladder only to be stumped by her backstabbing boss played effectively by Sigourney Weaver. But, Griffith doesn't take her fate lying down, she takes over her bosses identity, office, home, clothes and man to grab her rightful place in the corporate world. Harrison Ford plays Jack Trainer, the disaffected business man who becomes enamored with the charading Griffith as they attempt to pull of a business deal together. A deal that can make or break Griffith if she isn't found out first. Working Girl is both inspirational and delightful watch as you root for the good guy or in this case the good girl to win.
