Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Spy Who Loved Me
This film is a classy installment in the James Bond series, with Roger Moore starring as the ultimate spy with style. In this film, Bond teams up with Russian agent XXX, in order to track down two missing nuclear submarines. On their way, they cross paths with Stromberg, an immensely wealthy shipping magnate, obsessed with the idea of creating an underwater world. In true Bond style, Bond not only saves the day but gets the girl.

Roger Moore is in top form as agent 007. Bond, with the help of female Russian spy, team up to search for missing atomic submarines. There trail leads them to billionare Karl Stromburg (Jurgens) who has a mad plot for nuclear Armageddon. Aided in his crazed plan is the ominous Jaws (played by Richard Kiel) who will stop at nothing to prevent Bond from succeeding in foiling the evil billionare's plans! Considered the best Bond film starring Roger Moore! Followed by Moonraker.
