This movie is basically about a jewelry store robbery gone wrong. One of the criminals realizes one of the team is an undercover cop. Throughout the movie, there are violent confrontations, threats and death. One scene portrays the torturing of a cop for information. By the end of the movie, it was every man for himself. This movie has power, great acting and will leave you in awe.

Quentin Tarantino's first true film, which is the incredible story of a Jewelry store robbery gone wrong. A group of professional killer/thieves are unexpectedly surprised when they are ambushed during a planned robbery. As they regroup they slowly discover that one of them is an undercover cop. Made with a 1.4 million dollar budget, Reservoir Dogs is the landmark masterpiece of independent film making. Featuring some of the most horific violence and language, it guides us through a part of the criminal world that you can't help but get involved in. Yet, despite all the violence, it is never glorified, but rather shows us the aweful reality of it. It features outstanding acting performances by Keitel, Madsen, Buscemi and Roth. Also even serves as the prequel for Pulp fiction, due to the numerous references to people in Pulp Fiction. Truly an outstanding film, and a must for all B-Movie watchers. See It

A group of hired criminals under assumed names, pull a heist at a jewelry wholesaler. Some of the members of killes and the remaining members hide out in an abondoned warehouse. One of them is severely injured and is close to death (Tim Roth). Another one is completely psychotic and slaughters a cop. And Harvey Keitel is trying to comfort Tim Roth in all his pain. But he doesn't know that he is really an undercover cop, and when the mob boss who hired them finds this out, Keitel will stop at nothing to prevent him from killing Tim Roth.

From the planning, bungled execution, and disasterous aftermath of a diamond heist, Quentin Tarantino(who, as usual, plays an ill-fated supporting role) shows us the unyeilding brutality and frequent dark humor of the lower reaches of the world of organized crime. Whether purely sadistic or brilliantly original, his directing style(similar in many espects to Pulp Fiction,in fact,there are a couple references to that movie) is highly unique. This comes recommended to any fan of Tarantino's other films, although I suspect almost any fan of his has seen it.

"Where did all those cops come from?"
A group of professional criminals were robbing a diamond wholesaler, when they were ambushed by police forces. With some men missing, some dead, and one dying, remaing criminals must figure out who the rat is.
The movie goes over how each person got onto this job, including the undercover cop. This is a great action movie with some suspense humor, and some trademark moviemaking from director Quenrin Tarantino.
