Review Summary and Plot Commentary about L.A. Confidential
Edmund Exley (Gut Pearce) is an ambitous young detective fighting his way up the the ranks. Bud White (Russell Crowe) is an agressive detective with a disgust for men who beat women. When investigating a massacre at a coffee shop, a simple answer is found when the police catch 3 black people for the crime. But Exley thinks that there is more to this than the report claims. Trouble starts brewing when he investigates.
--Brian Sager, Resident Scholar

L.A. Confidential is driven by astonishing actors and genious plot, and is way more dimentional and entertaining to those "regular" crime stories.
--Tero Hakulinen, Resident Scholar
