| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Goodfellas |
All Henry Hill ever wanted to be was a gangster. He joins the mob, becomes a centrifugal figure in his crime organization and goes through decades of crime, incarceration, and drug trafficking before finally ending his career as a gangster.

The movie follows Ray Liotta's characters from his childhood spent with the fascination generated by the gangsters' lavishing lifestyle to his choice of becoming a gangster himself and the following rise and fall (arrest, loss of money, power, wife). The movie is also a portrait of a mafioso gang between the 60s' and the 80s'.
