| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Courage Under Fire |
A very interesting and true film. Opens during the Gulf War with Colonel Natan Serling accidentaly ordering an attack on one of his own tanks. He is subsequently sent home and assigned to investigate candidates for the Medal of Honor. His assigned candidate: The first woman to ever be nominated. Meg Ryan plays her well, as the Army pilot who saves the lives of her own men, and saves the lives of others, only to be betrayed by her own and left to die. Filled with plenty of action, and a riveting storyline. An excellent movie for all to see.
