| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Stir of Echoes |
When he drunkenly challenges his eccentric sister-in-law to hypnotise him, Tom starts having visions and premonitions. These seem to be linked to the disappearance of a dim-witted girl who lived in the neighbourhood.

After going under hypnosis by his sister-in-law, Kevin Bacon wakes up to new things and gets contacted by a young girl who provides with clues to what happened to her. With the aid of his son (Cope), he tries to piece together the murder mystery. This is a better film than "The Sixth Sense" which came out the same year as this.
