| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Fugitive |
In this suspenceful thriller, we meet Dr. Richard Kimble, a doctor who is accused of murdering his wife, and then escapes from custody. While free, he looks for the real culprit, a one-armed man, while an obsessed detective begins looking for Kimble. Searching 'every doghouse, warehouse, etc.", he continues to unlock the key to Kimble's past. This is very energetic with an incredible surprise ending, and a wonderful performance by Tommy Lee Jones as the detective.

Richard Kimble (Ford), an eminent Chicago surgeon, comes home one night to find his wife bludgeoned to death. Although he knows he is innocent and is convinced a one-armed man committed the murder, Kimble is convicted of the crime and sent to prison. Fortunately, while he is being transported by prison bus, it collides with a train and he manages to escape. Kimble must elude tough and wily U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard (Jones) long enough to find out who really killed his wife and why. This smart, taut 1993 thriller, inspired by the hit 1960s TV series that starred David Janssen, races from a spectacular train wreck through sewer tunnels, from a breathtaking leap off a high dam to a right for a gun on Chicago's L Train, and from a chase through a St. Patrick's Day Parade to the climactic fight on rooftops, just like the final TV episode. Great work, especially by the two leads.

When Dr. Richard Kimble is framed for the murder of his wife, he breaks out of prison to find the real killer. With the FBI on his tail, Kimble manages to outsmart them, but eventually, he leads them to the criminal, Frederick Sykes. Kimble's best-known tactic is when he jumps off a dam and plunges into the river below. Kudos to Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones for recreating the '60s TV show of the same name.

Catch him if you can. The Fugitive is on the run! Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones race through the breathless man-hunt movie based on the classic TV series. Ford is prison escapee Dr. Richard Kimble, a Chicago suregon falsley convicted of killing his wife and determined to prove his innocence by leading his pursuers to the one-armed man who actually committed the crime. Jones (1993 Academy Award and Golden Globe winner as best supporting actor) is Sam Gerard, an unrelenting bloodhound of a U.S. Marshal. They are hunted and hunter. And as directed by Andrew Davis (Under Siege), their nonstop chase has one exhilarating speed: all-out. So, catch him if you can. And catch an 11-on-a-scale-of-10 train wreck (Yes, the train is real), a plunge down a waterfall, a cat-and-mouse jaunt through a Chicago St. Patricks Day Parade and much more. Better hurry. Kimble doesn't stay in one place very long.

Harrison Ford stars in this Elite Thriller. He is wrongly accused of his wife's murder. He has a chance to escape and prove he didn't do it, so he takes it.
Tommy Lee Jones is the US marshall on the case with his wacky crew to try and catch Richard Kimble (Ford) and also find the TRUTH along the way. Academy Award nominee for Best Picture, and Best Supporting Actor (Jones) Don't miss this one!
