| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Curly Sue |
A heartwarming comedy of a very special little girl named Curly Sue, who throughout the movie must overcome the loss of her mother. An inspirational actress, who demonstates true love and affection towards 'Bill' (James Belushi), whilst still managing to be strong, even though she is still at a tender age(9). A comical account, of the lengths a father will go to ensure the well being of his daughter. After playing a harmless scam upon an affluent female lawyer, true love develops. Could this be the Mother Sue has been yearning for? But does gaining one parent, mean she has to lose the other? An uplifting tale of optimism and bravery.

James Belushi stars as the Dad of Curley Sue (Alison Porter). A life on the road as a couple of con artist bums. Belushi and Curley Sue meet up with rich Kelly Lynch and Belushi and her start to fall in love, but her ex-boyfriend gets jealous and finds out things about Belushi, forcing Belushi to give up his little girl.
A comedy mostly when Curley Sue gets the royal treatment, but turns into a sweet love story of father and daughter.
