| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Wedding Planner |
Jennifer Lopez plays Mary who is a Wedding Planner very much into her work and not thinking about romance. One day Steve Eddison saves her from a rolling dumpster, and they end up going to a movie. They have a great day but then, Mary finds out Steve is the groom of one of her most important weddings. She is very upset but she needs to plan the wedding so she continues her work. Meanwhile her father is trying to set her up with her childhood friend Massimo. Steve finds out that Mary and Massimo are supposedly "engaged" (or so Massimo thinks). So begins alot of quarelling over who lied to who. Eventually love blooms and Steve realizes what he has with his current fiance was great but what he could have with Mary was greater. Eventually they both leave their fiances and get together, at the same place where they had their first date.
