Bianca's Sister Kat is not a popular girl like her sister Bianca. Kat is not interested in dating boys beacuse She got her heart broken in love. So Bianca would-be boyfriend bribes fellow outsider Patrick to ask Kat out.

In this modern retelling of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, Bianca and Katrina (Stiles) are sisters whose father says that Bianca can't date until Kat does. This is a problem for pretty, popular Bianca because Kat has made herself anti-social and the whole highschool is afraid of her. Cameron (who likes Bianca) tries to help her out by convincing the "rich model boy" Joey (who wants Bianca for other reasons) to pay outcast/rebel Patrick to date Kat. What happens when Kat and Patrick learn to love?
