This one is a little different than your usual baseball movie. Luke Edwards plays 11-year-old Billy Heywood. Billy's grandfather is the owner of the Minnesota Twins baseball team. His grandfather dies and leaves the team to Billy, knowing he's the only one who truly appreciates and cares about baseball. The current coach is rude and cannot inspire the players so Billy fires him. Billy takes over managing the team himself. Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson, and Lou Pinella make cameo appearances.
