An extraordinary journey of a red violin, made in 1681. We followed the red violin through it's ownership. From it's 'birth'in Italy then to Oxford,England and China during the Cultural Revolution and finally to Montreal in modern days where it to be auctioned off.
Through different countries, times and owners,we looked at the affection and consequences that the red violin brought.
An unique film with various lanuguages like Italian,French,German,Mandarin and English.
