| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Instinct |
This movie delves into the very soul of humanity what we feel and do to the earth and the other inhabitants that share it with us. It deals a stern reality to human kind to change its agressive behaviors and appreciate what we have been given. Cuba Godding Jr is extraordinary in the character of the physichiatrist trying to proove himself..and in the end finding himself. Anthony Hopkins gives a sensitive and vulnerable portrayal of one man seeking truth of his existance

A remarkable film about an anthropologist's(Hopkins) special relationship with a group of gorillas. How he managed to find peace and embraced them in African wilds for 2 years until they were 'disturbed' by gorilla-poachers. He killed some of them to protect his friends but was seized and imprisoned in a U.S. mental institution. He refused to utter a word until his case was assigned to a patient psychologist(Gooding Jr.).
