Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Knight's Tale
A young squire's knight is killed in a jousting match so he assumes the identity of his master. He fights for him in the next match and wins, so he decides to continue playing. He enters several competitions and becomes the envy of many others. However, one knight doesn't like him and becomes his rival. To add to that they both like the same girl.

The only thing to stop his plans is Count Adhemar, who also loves Jocelyn. They continue to fight out their rivalry until William is found out to be a peasent.
--Rose DeWitt Bukater, Resident Scholar

This is a romantic comedy with a touch of drama.
The main character sees his way through many trials to become what he deserves to be. This movie will make you laugh, cry, and want to get up and dance all at once. The soundtrack is a must have!!!!

--Candi, Resident Scholar

This movie is a work hard type of movie. William (Heath) is following his dreams and beating everyone else while he's doing it, and even trying for love. I liked it a lot, it had just the right amount of comedy and adventure!
--Jenifer Renae, Resident Scholar

Good flick with Heath Ledger as a peasant squire who takes on the role of being a knight fighting in joustling competions throughout Europe and finds himself in love with a princess and fighting a man who has never lost in Sewell.
--Brian Oliver, Resident Scholar
