Titanic is the story of Rose DeWitt Bukater and her trip on the Titanic that changed her life forever. Rose is a 17-year-old that is being forced to marry a man who she doesn't love to save her family's social standing. She is about to commit suicide when she is saved by 20-year-old steerage passanger Jack Dawson. They fall in love and plan to get off the Titanic together, when the Titanic hits an iceberg on April 12,1912.

Jack falls in love with Rose when he wins tickets to go on the titanic. They both fall in love, but Rose's fiancee does not know, but he suspects that they are in love. He tries everything to seperate them, but when disaster strikes, he cant stop them. The ship hits an iceberg and begins to sink. Rose and Jack get onto a piece of wood, but are too heavy, so only Rose can stay on it. Jack freezes and dies, and Rose is so sad. She is rescued, and sais her name is Rose Dawson. (Jack's surname)
