One of the men, Cisco backstabs the group and blames it on Mel Smiley, one of the other hitmen. Mel then tries to survive and he also finds himself falling in love with the girl.

A group of hitmen plan an authorized kidnapping of a Chinese teenage girl. As it turns out, she is the goddaughter of their boss. The hitman who planned the kidnapping (Phillips) rats out his best friend and fellow hitman (Wahlberg). Wahlberg than falls in love with his hostage and together they try to get away from Phillips who was ordered to kill Wahlberg.
