| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Bed & Board |
BED & BOARD is a movie co-written and directed by François Truffaut in 1970.
Antoine Doinel is now married to Christine. While she's giving violin lessons, Antoine works for a flower shop and paints white flowers in different colours. But, during his spare time, he's writing a novel about his life. They soon have a little Alphonse and Antoine is hired by an american firm. He will accidentally meet Kyoko, a young japanese student, and begin a love affair with her. After Christine has discovered Antoine's double life, Antoine leaves the apartment but, still in love with Christine, stays most of the time with his wife and his son.
