| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Crossroads |
Britney Spears plays Lucy, the valadictorian of her high school class. She lives with her dad in the northeast. On graduation day/prom night, Lucy's old childhood friend Mimi(now pregnant) reminds her of the pact, to look in their old memory box, her, Lucy, and Kit made when they were little kids. Kit is a snobby popular girl. They end up joining Mimi and Ben, a mysterious friend of Mimi's, on a road trip to California. Each of the 3 girls go for their own reasons, Mimi to sing in a singing contest, Kit to visit her boyfriend and Lucy to find her mother in Arizona who she hasn't seen since she was 3. They become best friends once again on the trip and Lucy ends up in the singing contest. All in all it is a really good movie!
