Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Orchestra Rehearsal
ORCHESTRA REHEARSAL is a made for TV movie written and directed by Federico Fellini in 1979.

In a Roman medieval chapel, an orchestra must rehearse under the inquisitorial eye of a TV crew. Soon the musicians rebel against the dictatorial german conductor who must face a social and political revolution in the chapel.

Superb political satire à la Fellini.

--Daniel Staebler, Resident Scholar
