| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Indian Tomb |
THE INDIAN TOMB, directed by Fritz Lang in 1959, begins when THE TIGER OF ESCHNAPUR ends.
Seetha and Harald Berger are now prisoners of Prince Ramigani, Chandra's older brother. Meanwhile, Harald's sister and her husband, have arrived in Eschnapur and are asked by Chandra, the Maharajah, to build a monument, a gigantic tomb dedicated to his lost love. Ramigani, still seeking to overthrow his brother wants him to marry the dancer Seetha, in order to provoke the priests. But Seetha, still in love with Berger whom she believes to be dead, despises the Maharajah's demands.
Great adventure movie.
