LOVE CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR HALTH (El Amor Perjudica Seriamente la Salud) is a spanish comedy written and directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira in 1996.
The movie follows Diana and Santi from the 60's to the mid 90's. How they accidentally meet under John Lennon's bed while attending a press conference of the Beatles. How they meet again three years later after Santi has been hit by Diana's car. How Santi is following Diana's social career through the years thanks to the people illustrated magazines. How both of them manage to occasionally cheat on their respective spouses for years by always finding the most unlikely ways to meet. How Diana has always preferred the financial safety rather than an ordinary life with Santi. How they love has survived over the years.
A very good surprise with a shining Penélope Cruz.
