TIE ME UP! TIE ME DOWN! ( Átame ! ) is a spanish movie directed in 1990 by Pedro Almodovar. Nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
Ricky has just been released from a mental hospital. For a year now, he's been obsessed by one and only idea : to become the husband of Victoria Abril, a drug addicted and ex-porno actress. Victoria is now shooting an horror movie directed by Francisco Rabal, a once well-known director. Banderas, after having observed the set, steals Victoria Abril's apartment keys and waits for her return. Abril is forced to stay for a few days in her apartment by a Banderas trying by all possible means to please her. But Victoria is only wondering how she can escape. And Antonio must tie her as soon as he has to leave the flat in order to buy her medicaments and drugs. Little by little, Victoria Abril learns to know her Prince Charming.
