Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Vikings
THE VIKINGS is a movie produced by Kirk Douglas and directed by Richard Fleischer in 1958.

Ragnar, the King of the Vikings, is the father of Tony Curtis, english Queen Enid's son, but he doesn't know it since it was a rape that established him as Tony's father. Baby Tony is captured by the Vikings while sent to an italian monastery. 20 years later, Tony Curtis has become a slave and a Viking at heart. And he has gained the hate of his brother Kirk Douglas. Now Ragnar decides to kidnap Janet Leigh, the King of England's bride, in order to ransom the King Aella. But Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis both fall in love with her. Curtis escapes with Leigh from the Norwegian fjords. Kirk Douglas is not happy.

One of the best adventure movies ever shot. In location.
