ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA is a movie directed by Tsui Hark in 1991. The film won the Hong Kong film Award of the year.
Late XIXth century in China. Jet Li, a martial law teacher, organizes the civilian resistance against the foreign countries that slowly invade China and destroy its identity. He will have to face an american slaver, the local government and a Kung-Fu master who's sold his skills to the foreign forces. Can Kung-Fu win against bullets ?
