| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Windtalkers |
In WWII the US Marines used Navajo Indians as radio "codetalkers" to send messages to each other. But instead of using a code they used the native American Navajo Indian language. The story is about Joe Enders (Cage) who is assigned a codetalker to look after. Should the codetalker fall into enemy hands and putting the code in jeopardy Enders would have to stop him from talking.

The U.S. Army has decided to use a code based on the Navajo language for the communications. Each Navajo soldier aware of this code is protected by a Marine who is ordered to kill the man under his responsibility if the enemy comes too close of him.

Windtalkers is the latest film from acclaimed Hong Kong action director John Woo. The movie is excellent with tons of explosions and gunfights etc, and is based around the true story of the Najavo Code Talkers during World War 2. Highly Recommended.
