Review Summary and Plot Commentary about September (1987)
SEPTEMBER is a movie written and directed by Woody Allen in 1987.

Vermont, late August. Six people are gathered together in Mia Farrow's house. Mia is the daughter of Elaine Stritch, an actress once known for her eccentricities and now married to the physicist Jack Warden. Mia has fallen in love with her tenant, the writer Sam Waterston, who's more interested in seducing Dianne Wiest, Mia's best friend. The latent hate between Mia and her mother will finally explode when the night is over.
