Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Oblong Box
Based on a short story by E.A. Poe, THE OBLONG BOX is a movie produced and directed by Gordon Hessler in 1969.

Vincent Price is hiding in his mansion his brother Edward who's been savagely disfigured in Africa by his employees. Edward, with the help of a lawyer and an african doctor, escapes from captivity by dropping for a few hours in a coma. But his partners don't fetch him before his burial. He's accidentally saved by a body snatcher working for the doctor Christopher Lee. Edward will take revenge on those who abandoned him.
