| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about True Crime (1999) |
After a gas station is robbed and the clerk is killed the wrong man is arrested, convicted and sentenced to death. A journalist covers the case, but he doesn't think that everything adds up; he believes the man is innocent. The journalist investigates and finds another suspect. The real killer is dead, but with the help of the killer's mom, the journalist is able to prove the convicted man's innocent. Just as the lethal injection is place, the journalist convinces the governor to stop it just in time.
