| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Evil Under the Sun (1980) |
Yet another triumphant Agatha Christie movie. This movie was made in 1980, but set in the 1940s when the timeless novel on which it is based was written. Many actors/actresses return from "Death on the Nile", and it is yet again an all star cast. It also features Diana Rigg, whose name I forgot to mention earlier. A famous American movie star, Arlena Stuart/Marshall goes on holiday to "Daphne's Island". People follow her there and not long after she is dead! Yet another mysterious case for Poirot who happens to also be staying there! The film has since been re-made with David Suchet playing ther Belgian supersleuth.
