| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about RoboCop 2 |
In a futuristic Detroit, RoboCop is all that stands between the city and utter chaos. A new designer drug named Nuke is on the streets, and a cartel is eager to spread it to the masses. RoboCop begins to wage a merciless war against them, only to face interference from his bosses in Omni Consumer Products, the corporation that owns the police department. As his investigation continues, RoboCop learns that the mayor himself is involved in the Nuke ring, in which a young teenager is seeking to claw his way to the top. Meanwhile, RoboCop's corrupt employers are seeking to make a new, more powerful robotic police officer to oppose poor Robo, and all this makes for a very bad day...
